First-timer guide
Never been to Après? Here is everything worth knowing, in the order you will need it.
01
Before you go
- Pick a pass. Gold includes Wednesday’s hands-on training; every pass includes the talks and the CTF.
- Book lodging early. February is peak ski season and there is no hotel block.
- Join the Discord to meet people before you land.
- Bring a laptop, especially for training day and the CTF. Bring your favorite AI assistant too.

Getting there
- Fly into Salt Lake City International (SLC). The venue is about 35 minutes away.
- Parking is free in any Park City Hospital lot.
- The venue is the Blair Education Center, 900 Round Valley Drive.

The days
- Wednesday trainings start at 8:00 AM, with registration from 7:30.
- Thursday and Friday registration opens at 8:00 AM, the opening session is at 8:30, and the keynote is at 9:00.
- Talks run 50 minutes in a single track, so you never have to choose.
- The CTF opens Thursday at 10:00 AM and closes Friday at 2:00 PM.

Food
- Lunch is included for Gold and Silver Medal Pass holders.
- More food is upstairs at the Silver King Cafe.
- Après is the point: the conversations after 5:00 PM are the reason we exist.

After
- Briefings are posted to YouTube after the summit. Workshops are not recorded.
- Slides and videos are shared after the event.
- Many attendees stay the weekend to ski. Bring your gear.
