What makes Après different?
It is about AI and cybersecurity, not all of security: practical uses of AI, new threats, modern defenses, and practitioners and leaders in the same room. It is intentionally small, so the conversations matter.
Who should attend?
Security professionals, AI engineers, developers, researchers, students, executives, and anyone curious about what AI is doing to cybersecurity.
Do I need AI experience?
No. Sessions run from introductory concepts to advanced material. Beginners and people already building AI security tools both find their line.
Is it a technical conference?
Yes, though not only. Deep technical talks sit alongside strategic sessions on leadership, governance and adopting AI in security programs.
Why is it called Après?
Après is French for "after." Après-ski is the gathering after a day on the slopes. We think the most valuable moments happen in the conversations after the talks.
Registration
What does registration include?
Sessions, the CTF and networking with every pass. Lunch comes with Gold and Silver. The Wednesday workshops come with Gold only.
Are workshops included?
Only with the Gold Medal Pass. Silver and Bronze do not include Wednesday.
Can I attend only one day?
One-day passes are not offered. If you miss a day, slides and videos are shared after the event.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes. Briefings are posted to our YouTube channel after the conference. Workshops are not recorded.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event, through Eventbrite.
How do I get my employer to pay?
Download our justification letter. It lays out the agenda, the value and a cost estimate you can adjust. Download the letter.
Travel
How far is the venue from the airport?
About 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International.
Is parking available?
Yes, and it is free in any of the Park City Hospital lots.
Where should I stay?
Park City has hotels for every budget. February is peak ski season and there is no reserved hotel block, so book early. See the venue page for picks. Lodging picks.
Will meals be provided?
Lunch is included for Gold and Silver pass holders. More food is available upstairs at the Silver King Cafe.
Can I bring ski gear?
Yes. Many attendees extend their stay to ski or explore.
